Join Besk’s sommelier Trent Everitt and Silvio Marocco from Pio Cesare for an extremely special Exploring event with one of the true stars of the Piedmont wine region. This promises to be one of the most exciting tasting events of the year, with some very special, and very rare bottles being opened, just for you!
Founded in 1881 Pio Cesare is now in their fifth generation of ownership and unique in many ways. Their cellar is based in the historic centre of Alba (the heart of Piedmont) in the old roman walls of the city. They are one of very few wineries based in the town of Alba. The wine reflects the classic ethos and winemaking style of the region and we will be trying a range of styles – including some very limited bottlings of Barbaresco and Barolo.
